HR Administrator

Join our HR team as our new HR Administrator in Humble, TX, and get an opportunity to provide assistance and guidance to foreign companies when starting or expanding their business in the U.S. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of the HR team leads to assist in external tasks for existing and prospective clients.

Working out of our Houston (Humble), TX office, the HR Administrator assists with onboarding new hires for our external clients, including requesting onboarding paperwork and organizing documents received. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and assisting with benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and renewals.

As a client-facing team member, you will assist clients via email, video call, or phone. In collaboration with the HR Manager, you will use company resources to research and find answers to HR consultancy questions regarding leave policies, state termination laws, and wage theft laws. You will also perform internal audits to ensure client information is processed accurately and collaborate with the payroll team on tasks related to onboarding and terminations.

The ideal candidate brings a variety of experience in the HR field while looking to gain more experience in a generalist role. You are a proactive self-starter with great attention to detail, able to work independently and follow Standard Operating Procedures to accurately complete tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with onboarding of new hires for external clients (client-facing).

  • Updates and maintains Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

  • Assists with benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and renewals for external clients.

  • Assists clients via email, video call, or phone with day-to-day HR operations.

  • Researches and finds answers to HR consultancy questions (leave policies, state laws, etc.) in collaboration with the HR Manager.

  • Performs internal audits to ensure client's HR information is processed accurately.

  • Uses Standard Operating Procedures to accurately follow processes to completion.

  • Collaborates with the payroll team on onboarding, terminations, and other HR updates.

  • May create or update employee handbooks.

Team:

The HR Administrator works as part of a team in our Humble, TX office. The hybrid work schedule consists of working in the office 3 days a week and working from home 2 days a week. You will work under the direct supervision of HR team leads and collaborate with the payroll department.

Knowledge/Education:

  • Strong working knowledge of HR laws and rules.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of working with a CRM or project management system is preferred.

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Dutch is a plus, but not required.

Job Details:

  • Salary: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
